From Santiniketan to Scotland

Its been a long journey with a lot of pit stops along the way. A few of them are...

Born in Santiniketan, West Bengal (India). It is famous for Visva Bharati University, Nobel Laureates - Rabindranath Tagore & Amartya Sen, leather work and kantha stitch.

Most of my childhood was spent in Shillong, Meghalaya (India). Shillong is also known as the "Scotland of the East". Its a beautiful hillsation with one of the best schools.

We lived in a few places in Orissa, Our family has deep connection to the state. One of the most memorable periods of our lives. It continues to be a place we still visit.

Dundee is home for sometime now. In a way life has brought me to Scotland. A long way from its namesake. It has been an eventful journey. One I am proud to talk about.

23 years and counting...

I have a 23 year plus career working with Fortune 500 companies, leading global teams. I have also been an enterprenuer from the age of 12. A juggernaut that has lead to establishing my own firm - The Global Village Development Centre Ltd. (SC815419) in July, 2024. The Global Village specializes in end-to-end Media solutions. We provide global and scalable solutions backed by cyber security, streamlined process flows. data analytics, and training. With a state-of-the-art recording studio, the team can delivery pretty much anything, anywhere. Limited only by ambition and imagination!

Enabling people and businesses has been at the heart of my body of work. Volunteering is a way of life. Support The Byre Theatre, Dundee City Center and Harbour Community Council, and Ramblers (Forth Valley, Tayside, and Fife). I contribute hours to teach and mentor students as and when its possible. We all need a village to succeed. I have mine. I do my best to pay it forward.
